orc.host documentation
orc.host is AI-powered game-server hosting. You describe the server you want and the AI provisions it, installs your mods and plugins, keeps it online, and fixes problems on its own. These docs cover how it works and how to drive it.
Create your first server
There is nothing to download and no control panel to set up. You create a server by telling the AI what you want.
- Open the hosting app and sign in. Starting is free and needs no card.
- Describe the server in one line. For example: “A vanilla SMP for six friends” or “A Create modpack world on the latest version.”
- The AI picks the version, installs your mods and plugins, writes the configs, and boots a real server.
- Copy the server address it gives you and share it with your friends. Open Minecraft, add the server, and play.
Not sure what to ask for? Just say what you and your friends want to do and let the AI suggest a setup.
Try saying:
“Make me a survival server for five friends on the latest version, with sleep voting and keep-inventory on.”
Describe it, and the AI does the rest
Traditional hosts hand you an empty box and a control panel. orc.host runs an AI host that does the whole job for you, end to end.
- You describe it. You say what kind of server you want in plain language.
- AI provisions it. It chooses the loader and version, allocates memory, and boots a real server in the cloud.
- It installs mods and plugins. The AI resolves compatible versions, installs them, and writes the configs so they actually work together.
- It keeps you online. Your world stays up so friends can hop on whenever, with no “is it up?” in the group chat.
- It self-heals. When something breaks, the AI reads the logs, finds the cause, and patches it, usually before you notice.
Minecraft now, more games soon
Minecraft is available today, both Java and Bedrock, with full support for Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, and Paper mods and plugins.
These games are coming next, with the same describe-it-and-play flow:
Run everything from chat
After your server is live, you manage it the same way you created it: by asking. Here is what the AI can do for you.
Power
Start, stop, or restart your server by asking. Tell the AI to put it to sleep when nobody is on and wake it when a friend wants to play.
- "Restart the server."
- "Sleep the server when it is empty."
Mods & plugins
Add, remove, or update mods and plugins in plain language. The AI resolves the right versions, installs them, and writes the configs so nothing breaks.
- "Add the Create mod."
- "Install EssentialsX and set spawn protection."
Players
Manage who can join. Whitelist friends, set roles, op an admin, or ban a griefer, all through chat.
- "Whitelist my friend Sam."
- "Make me an operator."
Backups
Your world is backed up automatically. Ask for a fresh backup before a big build, or roll back if something goes wrong.
- "Back up the world now."
- "Roll back to yesterday."
Start free, scale when you need to
You can start for free with no card. Paid plans add more memory and player slots, larger worlds, and more AI usage for setup and changes.
- Free. Spin up a server and try the AI host. Best for a small world with a few friends.
- Paid. More RAM, more players, bigger modpacks, and headroom for heavier AI work.
Current tiers and prices live in the app, so they always match what is actually offered.
Common questions
Do I need to know how to run a server?
No. You describe what you want in chat and the AI handles versions, mods, configs, and hosting. There is no control panel to learn and no command line.
Can I use my own modpack?
Yes. Name a modpack (Forge, Fabric, NeoForge, or a Paper plugin set) or list the mods you want, and the AI installs and configures them.
Can my friends join from anywhere?
Yes. You get a server address to share. There is no port forwarding and nothing to install for your friends beyond Minecraft itself.
What happens if the server crashes?
The AI watches your server, reads the logs when something fails, finds the cause, and patches it. Most issues are fixed before you notice them.
Is there a free option?
Yes. You can start for free with no card. Paid plans add more memory, more players, and more AI usage. Specifics live in the app.
Which games are supported?
Minecraft (Java and Bedrock) is available now. Rust, Valheim, Palworld, and Terraria are coming soon, with the same describe-it-and-play flow.
